Chrome book Update: Take survey for a device!

Hello Lowry Families,

Well, it was a strange first day of school, but nevertheless a successful one! Thank you – each and every one of you! – for supporting your child as they begin to navigate remote learning at Lowry. We are working hard to get support to you if there are still challenges, and we are also working hard to get devices in your hands if you do not currently have a device.

BROKEN DEVICES: We do NOT have an unlimited supply of devices for students. Some of the devices we handed out have come back damaged or broken after a short period of time… please do your best to take care of the devices we are lending out during this time. We are not able to continue to provide additional devices for broken/damaged chrome books and if trends occur with your device, we will have to set up specific contracts and policies to ensure devices are staying safe at home. PLEASE help your child take care of their device so they can continue to engage in remote learning!

AND SOME GOOD NEWS – MORE CHROME BOOKS: We did get an additional delivery of chrome books this afternoon. We will be reaching out via email starting tomorrow morning to confirm a device is waiting to be picked up for your child with the days/times you can come pick them up at Lowry. You must fill out THIS SURVEY if you need a device and have not already done so so we know to reach out to you. Please leave an email address on the survey so we can send you your pick-up information. Please do not just show up at the school as our campus is closed and we cannot allow parents into the building at this time. Emails will go out starting tomorrow morning around 10 am and we anticipate having devices for every child with a device missing.
