Lowry Family Update
Dear Lowry Families,
We want to thank everyone for your patience and grace as we plan for a gradual return to in-person learning opportunities. This past Wednesday we had an opportunity to answer questions about how we are planning to support students in both learning options. Our teachers and staff have been working tirelessly towards planning for a safe and strong gradual return. As we are finalizing plans, it is important to know that all students will have access to high-quality learning opportunities.
In an ongoing effort to support our school to move toward a more comprehensive learning experience for all, we are finalizing learning options for all families by 3:00pm today. Families will no longer be able to opt out of in-person learning to remote learning at this point in time. This will allow us to strategically observe operations while running both learning models simultaneously. We will communicate when we will be able to look at the potential for a student to change options, but it will be after the first two weeks of the in-person return so we can solidify our in-person model. Regardless of your decision to have your child participate in remote learning or in-person learning, our staff is committed to providing your child with rigorous learning opportunities and the best education possible.
We have added additional district and Lowry-specific information in regards to the upcoming return to in-person school below. Please don’t forget to join us Wednesday morning at the Weekly Family Coffee with the Principal this Wednesday, September 30 from 9-10 am.
