The Lowry Innovation Fund was created as part of the PTO’s financial policy. It is an avenue to award PTO funds in an organized manner to all Lowry stakeholders, including staff and parents. The money will be awarded for ideas that provide benefit to the Lowry students and community. This is the chosen method to receive any monies from the PTO that are currently NOT in the approved budget.
Ideas must be submitted by each deadline and the PTO executive board will review all submissions. The top submissions will be then be presented at the designated PTO meeting for a final vote/approval. The number of approvals is not limited but there will be a consideration of the funds needed to implement each project and the total funds available. Applicants who do not get accepted may choose to have their idea reviewed again for the following deadline without re-applying.
