Open Positions on CSC and/or PTO:
The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) is a Denver Public School mandated board consisting of the principal, elected parent representatives, teachers, support staff, and community members. The purpose of the CSC is to implement strategies for the achievement of Lowry students. One way that this is done is by creating, guiding and evaluating a Unified Improvement Plan (UIP). The CSC is a policy-setting and decision-making body of our school. CSC does not operate on a budget, but makes decisions about how funds received from DPS, supplementary grants, and the Aviator Fund is best spent to support the UIP. CSC meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.
Interested parents must self-nominate and provide a brief personal description including why they would like to be a member of the CSC. The Nomination form will be available after spring break with a final vote by the end of the month. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to Theress Pidick at email@example.com. OPEN: (3) Parent Representative positions on CSC
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is parents, staff and the community working together to enrich and improve the school experience by providing activities and resources that build our Lowry community. PTO meetings are held monthly, are open to the public, and time commitment varies by committee. Willing parents (positions can also be shared and expanded to committees) fill positions; the existing members vote in the Board member positions. (Board members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary). In addition to the open positions, many of the committees need additional support, which is a great way to help support the school rather than head a committee. If you have further questions, pleas feel free to contact Tina Skewes firstname.lastname@example.org or Charis Sederberg email@example.com

Donations are always needed and appreciated! Go to www.coloradogives.org to schedule a one-time donation or set up a monthly recurring donation in the amount that you choose.
