WHERE TO DROP OFF/PICK UP CHILDREN:

Children are not to come to school before 7:45 each day, unless they are here for breakfast.  Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. daily.   Children should time their departure from home so they do not arrive at school before the times above.  Good teaching requires time to plan, prepare, evaluate, conference and a host of things that must be accomplished when pupils are not in school.  For this reason, children may not enter the building until 8:10 a.m., except for breakfast, during inclement weather or by prior arrangement.  When weather is extreme, pupils may enter the building at 7:55 a.m. and go to the gym or the auditorium, where staff members will supervise them.  For your child's safety, we request your help in monitoring their arrival time at school.

Playground supervision begins at 7:45 a.m.

Kaleidoscope Corner students will enter and exit from the main entrance on the north side of the building (Maple Street).  Phone-303-764-7834 at Lowry or 303-764-3761 for registration.

Early Childhood will enter through the main south/Cedar entrance proceed directly to the classroom.

Kindergarten students may enter from East Cedar or Maple

1st through 5th grade students will enter through the north/Maple entrance of the school.  Students may enter the up-ramps to the playground.

(720) 424.5913, each day your child is absent or tardy.

MEDICATIONS SENT TO SCHOOL

Only medications prescribed by a physician will be given to a pupil at Lowry.  If a pupil must receive medication during school hours, the parent or guardian must furnish the medicine, plainly marked with -pupil's name, physician's name, name of the medicine, dosage, and administration times.  Please send the original bottle in which the medications were dispensed.  All medication must be kept and administered in the clinic. The parent and dispensing physician must fill out a form before the school can administer medications.  Please contact the office as soon as possible if this applies to your child.  Should there be any questions, please call the office or the School Nurse.
