This is my first year as Lowry's Challenge teacher. The
two main parts of my job are to identify gifted and talented students at the
school and to work, along with the other teachers, to provide appropriate
educational opportunities for those students. This year that includes: Challenge
classes in math and writing for third-fifth graders, enrichment classes and
corresponding small group classes for first and second graders. We will also be
involved in many special programs: Quad School Activities, Shakespeare Festival,
