Hello from Coach Hartman. This is my 17th year at Lowry. In my classroom I want students to try a variety of activities so they learn what they like and continue being active for the rest of their lives. Students should not feel intimidated by physical activities and being active. They should enjoy moving and feel comfortable in their bodies and this is my goal when teaching your student(s).
When I am not teaching I love spending time with my wife, Stephanie and two kids Genevieve and Lucas. I enjoy watching movies and playing board games with them. I also love sports. You will usually find me cheering on all Colorado sports but mostly at Coors Field.
I look forward to being a part of Lowry’s community and making sure all the students find a safe, inclusive and fun place to learn. I believe all students deserve an education that helps them grow into the smart, brilliant people they are.
