On April 3, our Collaborative School Committee (CSC) met to discuss staffing and school choice updates, next steps for our Black Student Success plan, Lowry’s additional Professional Development dates for the 2025-2026 school year, and CSC elections. A summary of the minutes can be found below. Our next meeting will be on May 13 at 4:30. As always, all members of our community are invited to attend CSC meetings–it is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the work that our students and staff are doing at Lowry.

  • Staffing Updates: I am happy to announce that we are fully staffed for the 2025-2026 school year!

  • School Choice Updates: As of April 3, we have 385 students joining us for next year.

  • Black Student Success Plan: This is the first year of the DIBELS test and we have learned a great deal, including how we can rearrange our curriculum to better align to the testing.

  • Additional Professional Development Dates: Lowry will have four “no student contact days” added to the calendar for next year. Once the days have been approved, we will share the dates.
