Lowry Family Update Header, September 2-5, 2025

Message from Dr. Larkin:

I hope you had a restful and enjoyable long weekend! Lowry’s weekend kicked off with our first Farmers Market of the year, staffed by Ms. Brugato’s class! One of the very special things about Lowry is our garden, which is run by volunteers and our students. Each year, under the direction of Lisa Davis, our students plant, grow, harvest, and sell produce from our garden. Students are involved in each part of the process and it is a terrific learning experience for all! All proceeds from the Farmers Market go directly back into the garden to purchase new supplies and seeds. We hope you’ll visit our next Farmers Market on September 12!

A few reminders regarding our school policies, which are implemented to keep our students safe and learning!

  • Any adult who comes to Lowry to volunteer, attend a meeting, etc. must sign-in in the main office. All visitors must receive a visitor badge.

  • Tardy Procedures:

    • If students are late to school, they should be dropped off at the front door on Cedar Ave., not the playground entrance on Maple St.

    • Parents/guardians may come into the office, but will not be able to walk their students to class–this is to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment for all students.

    • If a child needs to be walked to class, a Lowry staff member will walk them.

    • If an ECE student is late, the parent/guardian will come to the office with the student and a staff member will assist them.
