Message from Dr. Larkin:
For the first few weeks of school, we focused on establishing our rituals and routines. We are now working on building and strengthening our instructional models, with a focus on literacy. Recently, we received word that Lowry achieved a green rating on the Colorado Department of Education’s School Performance Framework! Our score improved by over 4% from the 2024 ratings; this is tremendous progress and we appreciate the hard work of our students and staff. This year, as we continue to build on this momentum, we will receive support from the school district in the form of instructional walkthroughs and literacy training for our staff.
Each year, families are asked to complete the federal Meal Benefits Application. Colorado provides free lunch to students, but it is critical that our families complete the Meal Benefits form to ensure that we receive additional federal funding. This funding helps us meet the needs of all students! We are asking all families to complete the application, even if you feel that you do not qualify (there is an option to decline the benefits once you log in). Complete the application here. Thank you for your cooperation in this endeavor.
