The Collaborative School Committee is a group of parents, teachers, support staff and community members who advise the principal on specific areas related to school improvement. The role of the CSC is to provide guidance, evaluation and recommendations to the Principal on the school’s Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) and budget. Additionally, the CSC provides input on Program Design Changes, School and Community Engagement, Principal Evaluation/Selection, School Schedules and Safety and Discipline Procedures. The committee is an advisory committee and does not make any official decisions.

Regular Monthly Meetings occur the third Thursday of the month, from 5 to 7 p.m., from September to May. Any member of the Lowry Community (parent, student, teacher, staff and neighbors) is welcome to attend our monthly meetings. A time is set aside in each meeting for an Open Public Forum where anyone can bring questions, concerns or comments. Translators are available for the meeting with prior notice. The schedule for the 2020-2021 School Year is as follows:

CSC members want to ensure that all members of the Lowry Elementary Community (parents, students, teachers, neighbors) feel informed, but that they also have a voice. Please feel free to reach out to any CSC member with questions or concerns you might have. CSC Members for the 2021-2022 school year include:
